This charming Grade II listed traditional stone and slate cottage is situated in the popular village of St Mabyn within easy reach of North Cornwall’s famous visitor attractions (Please see our 'Where to go' page). The cottage has oil-fired central heating and accommodation for up to 6 people in 3 double bedrooms. There is a private enclosed garden to the rear, Barn Parc Cottage is ideal for families with young children, golfers, walkers, water sport enthusiasts and anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. If all you want to do is chill out, the village pub and well-stocked shop are just a couple of minutes walk down the road! Please note that Barn Parc Cottage is  non-smoking.

ACCOMMODATION

Sitting room    Split level  with two 3 seater comfy sofas, FreeSat TV, DVD player, HiFi. A selection of board games, playing cards, chess, backgammon, cribbage plus a varied library of books and DVDs are provided for your enjoyment during your stay. Although the cottage is not equipped with a computer, WiFi broadband access is available for guests who have a laptop suitably equipped with a wireless adapter.

At the other end of the sitting room there is a dining/games table that will seat 4 people.

Bedrooms       3 comfortable double bedrooms with quality zip and link beds which can be arranged as 3ft twins or 6ft doubles as required. The beds are all 6’6’’ long. Please advise us of your requirements at the time of booking. A cot (size 1200x600) with mattress is available on request – for baby health and safety, please supply your own cot bedding. We also have a stair gate, high chair and a camp bed available on request.

Bathroom        Family bathroom with a strong overbath shower, hand basin and WC.

Kitchen           Equipped with butler's sink,  electric cooker with halogen hob and double/fan oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, hand blender, cafetiere and a full range of kitchen utensils and crockery. There is also a compost caddy for use in conjunction with the compost bin in the rear garden.

Utility room     Automatic washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

Dining room    There is a pine dining table and chairs for up to 8 people in the Conservatory. A High chair is available on request.

The Courtyard  There is an enclosed courtyard that gets plenty of sun during the day and is equipped with a picnic bench and barbecue.The Utility room is across the yard making it ideal for muddy wellies and wet suits. It is equipped with a washing machine and tumble drier. 

    
 
Cleaning        Included in the price: bed linen, bathroom towels and final laundry. Please bring your own beach towels.

Accessibility   Bedroom 3 is downstairs with one step access to and from the garden entrance and the downstairs bathroom and kitchen.. There are 2 steps down from the kitchen to the sitting room which has a split level with one step. Please contact me if any further information is required.

Outside           The rear garden is enclosed with a lockable side gate making it suitable for young children, storage of bicycles, surf boards etc. There is a lawn and two slate paved patio areas with BBQ and furniture and a croquet set.

Visitors are asked not to smoke in Barn Parc Cottage. Please let us know if you wish to bring a dog.
